These words, and others such
as relaxing and exciting, perfectly describe Missoula. Sprawling

+) is Western Montana's regional center for business, culture,
medical services, retail shopping, education and entertainment.

EXTENDED STAY
Contractors represented a large percentage of our guest business in 2007. We are thought of as a home away from home, with our very friendly and helpful staff. Gatherings in our guest lounge to play cards, watch TV or just talk are very popular. Our wireless Internet access was upgraded in fall 2007 and there will be additional upgrading this spring. We would sincerely appreciate the opportunity to serve as your Missoula place to stay. [ Rates and Additional Information on Extended Stay ] |
FLY FISHING MONTANA
Fly fishing on western Montana rivers is different from many other places in the U.S. For example we don't tie balloons on our lines and our leaders don't sink under the weight of two nymphs and some lead. In Missoula 90% of the fishing is dry fly fishing and many guides have created many effective patterns for all of the major aquatic insects, as well as a variety of terrestrials. Flies like the Varicose Vein, Beetle Bailey and the HBL streamer adorn the rods in our boats.
At Mountain Valley Inn we recommend Renegade Flyfishing Outfitters. They have the ability to handle any situation. All of there experienced guides are highly skilled anglers and oarsmen. Most of them utilize both the driftboat and raft, depending on where and when the fishing in Missoula, Montana is best.
